Meeting Minutes: 9.13.06
Attendees: Judi, Kathi, Lisa, Ella (our youngest and cutest member!) Maggie, Anne, Elizabeth, Dawn
-Meeting started by everyone introducing themselves and their bisinesses to our newest member, Maggie. Maggie then described her background, what she is now trying to do with her career counseling/radio host business and what her reasons for joining us are.
-We then began discussing some ideas for an imprmptu Project Cafe, sponsored by Lisa. She is looking for ways to increase public awareness of the floral design classes she offers at her studio. Everyone brainstormed and lots of ideas were offered.

-Judi will be interviewed on E Women Network on 9/24 from 8-9 pm (820 AM)
-Requests: Going forward, when Judi send the reminder for the meeting, we are requesting that everyone respond, whether you are attending or not. Also, for any correspondence, ideas or thoughts, please utilize the blog that Elizabeth worked so hard on for us. Thanks!
-Things to think about for our next meeting: a name for our group, a possible new location (more comfortable and set up for a better way to exchange ideas), ideas for uses for our extra money collected from dues, possible replacements for our members that have left the group (trying to think about what types of businesses would keep the group diverse)
